We will meet just before 7AM and make our way into the Toe Head peninsula. 

After this we will climb the bóithrín overlooking Tobar Phartaláin and we will chat about some of the folklore associated with Partaláin. 

The most auspicious days to visit are on the mornings closest to his feast day, May 14th . 

After taking to the sea at Trá na nDabhcha  in the shadow of Cuas a'Tobar on the way back, you will join fellow dippers, swimmers and walkers for hot drinks and snacks above the beach as we share some more local traditions, words and stories about the sea. 

This ancient pilgrimage was probably been happening for 1,000 years.
